Trees grow slowly, humans grow sparsely
We have crawled here
But elsewhere, there are nameless kinds of wood
Folks made boxes out of planks
boxes are shipped around the earth for a moment
eventually they get stuck in piles
Made in Czechoslovakia said one of them
I must draw out the nails from the forgotten trees
nurture them, wash their wounds and place them upwards
once again
Now they stand upright as they did, in their childhood
The planks have collected souvenirs: scars and tattoos
All the tar, resin and sap has ran out
