Residuals / Age of Shiny

sculpture series
2016 – 2017

Residuals / Age of Shiny are the residues – or mutant relatives – of the sisters Cementa and Toyota, a site specific sculptural work in the industrial harbor of Malmö, Sweden. What unifies these sculptures is the plastic material, that was collected on site, an artificial stretch of land built out of contaminated rubble of demolition waste in Malmö harbor.
