Underground Soulmate
HDPE & polypropylene plastic, concrete, steel,
130 x 35 x 35 cm, 2017.
The sculpture Underground Soulmate stems from a long fascination of the artist for the character of the trash can, which he encounters in its various forms in our cities.
For Sumari the trash can is a source of information and spirit. He sees this active entity as his power animal, accompanying him and passing him knowledge about its encounters as an urban creature.
